The Yoga will wait until you are ready

In 1991 Annemieke, a professional ballet teacher from the Netherlands, moved to the US and fell in love with yoga, which she has been teaching now for 20 years. She has trained and certified with renowned yoga instructors such as Erich Schiffmann, David Swenson and Manju Jois. (E-RYT 200, RYT 500). She is also a certified YogaKids Intl. teacher (RCYT).

In April 2020, when the Corona virus came, Annemieke created her own website and started teaching her classes online. Of course, this was a new teaching approach: Livestream yoga via Zoom. From the start, she realized that she was able to teach yoga online by using her own unique style of flow and alignment. Her classes are fun and playful with easy-to-follow instructions, encouraging students of all levels to practice intensely while honoring and working within their own limitations. 

In 2021 Annemieke moved back to her home country, the Netherlands, and settled down with her lovely husband in Hoorn, a quaint historic port city.

She continues online teaching from her new place.
